I picked this one up in advance of a holiday trip. In these times I always need some softer music for my companion which rocks only a little. But "Ghosts on Tape" even rocks a bit more. The album has still edges and corners, it sounds modern and timeless the same time, it is varied, often catchy and dynamic. Even for me as a metalhead BLOOD RED SHOES is a band which transports enough energy and ideas with its electro indie rock to stay sustainably interesting. Check "Sucker".
